Explination of Typing
Pokemon typing is a core part of the games. Each pokemon will have at least one type and commonly two. These typings are important because they set up the game for more stategy and choices for the user to make. Each type is strong against other types and weak against others or sometimes, themselves.

Above are images of pokemon that I will use to demonstrate how battling works. The Charmander is FIRE type which is 2x effective against Bulbasaur who is GRASS type. Since Bulbasaur is GRASS type it is 2x effective agianst Squirtle who is a WATER type. Since Squirtle is a WATER type that means it is 2x effective against Rhyhorn who is a ROCK type. Since Rhyhorn is a ROCK type it is 2x effective against Charmander who is a FIRE type. All pokemon have a typing and can be used effective against others to make battles lean in your favor. Below is a chart that will display all of the different typing and how they are effective or resistant to each other. The column on the side are the types that are attacking. The types at the top are the ones that are defending.
